ROARE
is a coalition of
individuals who believe that
three principles hold
the key to addressing both the past and the future of adoption.
These key principles form the basis for both our support and criticism of current or proposed adoption policies and practices in our home state of Queensland and our solidarity with all those struggling to reform adoption practices around the world. Our aim is to ensure legislators, policy-makers, practitioners and all members of the families of adoption are educated about these key principles. We believe that these key principles foster responsibility and care in the practice of adoption at the individual, family and community levels. Our invitation: Join with us in promoting these key principles Contact Information If you would like more information about the key principles or you would like to tell us your experiences of adoption relating to these principles, or you would like to know what you can do to help, then please contact us.
